Suspects flee after punching homeowner in the face

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A Madison County man came home to find two people in his home and then was punched in the face.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in the 4000 block of East County Road 200 North. They say a homeowner came home to find a suspicious vehicle in his driveway.

Investigators say the homeowner was knocked to the ground after being punched in the face. They say the suspect fled the home with another person, heading east on County Road 200 North.

The suspect that was seen by the homeowner is described as a late 20s white male with a thin build, approximately six feet tall. He is described as having a scruffy face.

The vehicle involved is believed to be a late model blue SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Trailblazer.
