White River clean up event hits 27th anniversary
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The annual White River cleanup has happened every year for 27 years.
On Saturday, Citizens Energy Group, the Indianapolis Department of Public Works, United Water, Friends of the White River and hundreds of volunteers removed trash and debris from the banks of the White River.
Since the cleanup started, almost two million pounds of trash and debris has been collected.
