2 juveniles shot on city’s far east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two juveniles were taken to the hospital with gun shot wounds on Sunday evening, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

The shooting happened in the 3900 block of Burningbush Drive around 9:15 p.m.

The two juveniles were transported to local hospitals. One was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital the other was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital. Their conditions were not immediately known.

It was not clear what lead to the shooting, but police were looking for suspects on Sunday.
