Troopers remembered annual memorial service

PENDLETON, Ind. (WISH) — Indiana State Police troopers who have fallen in the line of duty were remembered Monday in Pendleton.

The Pendleton Post of the Indiana State Police held its annual memorial service.

Roll call of the fallen was read while the Indiana State Police Honor Guard presented the colors.

In attendance were ISP Superintendent Doug Carter and the families of fallen troopers Robert Garrison and Roy Jones.

A total of 46 ISP Troopers have lost their lives in the line of duty since the inception of the department in 1933.
