Stanford roommates hope to deliver for Colts

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The three day rookie camp ended on Sunday with at least one signed contract for the Indianapolis Colts.

Abou Toure impressed the coaching staff over the three day camp as a running back. He is six feet and two inches tall, and weighs 230 pounds.

Toure is from Tennessee-Martin and was among a group of players invited to tryout and the opportunity to make it as a professional football player.

On the other side of the ball, two more Stanford players have entered the fold joining Andrew Luck, Coby Fleener and Griff Whalen.

Defensive linemen Henry Anderson, who was drafted in the third round, and David Parry, who was selected in the fifth round, is a duo that were college roommates that just made each other better.

“Saw Henry, he went before me, and then when I got the call from the Colts, I was pretty happy knowing he’d be here. What did I tell him? He just shot me a text too, and what he said I can’t really say on camera but we were both excited about it,” said Parry.

Anderson said there is a good chance the two will continue living together, this time near the Colts complex.

“We’ll see what the deal is, we’ll start looking for places to live together soon, but like I said, having him here is going to be great for that as well just to have a guy that you can go back and chill with, having a roommate you know and that your good buddies with,” said Anderson.
