INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s a short video with a big message — make the most of every day.
Dave Meinert is a director and filmmaker based in Cape Town, South Africa and one of his latest projects is touching hearts around the world.
It’s called The Pegasus Project, and it tells the story of a puppy named “Pegasus” who was rescued from backyard breeders.
In the video, Meinert says most of Pegasus’ siblings died after birth, or were deformed. He said he was told that if she lived, she’d go deaf and blind. So, he says he decided to record every day they had left.
The 1:25 time lapse-style video shows Pegasus as she grows, with one final thought from Meinert:
“I still don’t know how long she is going to live. But right now is pretty great.”
