Storms leave some with damage, power outages

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) – Sunday night’s storms left headaches for some people in central Indiana.

In Muncie, at Village Green Records, a large branch broke off a tree, crushing a ramp that leads to the building. Debris was scattered around the yard and sidewalk.

In Noblesville, near State Road 32 and Springmill Road, lightning struck and a transformer exploded late Sunday night. Several hundred were left without power, but according to Duke Energy, it has been restored in that area.

Hundreds of homes were left without power Monday morning all over the state.
