Daredevil Brewery joins other newcomers in Speedway
SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – When Daredevil Brewery cuts the ribbon on its new 10,000 square foot brewery and taproom next week, it will join 14 other businesses that have moved to Speedway’s redevelopment district since 2011.
“We’ve been busy,” said redevelopment director Scott Harris.
Town officials say six other businesses are expected to open this year, including Speedway Indoor Karting, 1911 Grill and Juncos Racing.
It’s part of a $500 million investment to breathe new life into the Main Street corridor.
Work is also underway to finish bike paths with plans to eventually connect to downtown Indianapolis.
