Dietician talks trans fats after FDA decision

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – American companies now have a deadline of when they have to completely cut trans fats out of food.

Tuesday, the FDA said trans fats should be out of the American diet in three years.

Anna Busenburg is a registered dietician with Saint Vincent and was on Daybreak Wednesday to talk about what the FDA’s decision will mean for our health.
