Teen in critical condition after east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police say a teenager is in critical condition after someone shot him early Wednesday morning on the east side of Indianapolis.

Officers say it happened around 1:30 a.m. at an apartment complex near the intersection of Arlington Avenue and East 10th Street.

Police at the scene say they think there was a fight between the shooter and the victim. They say the shooter fled the scene afterward.

No description of that suspect has been released.
