Program cleans up community and provides jobs for teens

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Members of the community and a law enforcement group came together to announce a new summer job partnership today.

The “Clean for Green” initiative is designed to clean up the community while providing jobs for teens in need this summer.

The Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge Number 86 and the Fervent Prayer Church are partnering on the program this summer.

The Clean for Green program began back in 2012.

Participants earn $25 and are provided breakfast and lunch for each day worked.
