19-year-old killed in Carroll County crash
CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A 19-year-old woman was killed Monday morning in a crash in Carroll County.
Sheriff Tobe Leazenby said Taylor Mars of Rochester crossed the center line of State Road 29 and hit a semi head on.
The crash happened just before 1 a.m. at the intersection with County Road 250 North.
Leazenby said Mars was wearing a seatbelt but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi driver, 59-year-old Dennis Nickell of Ohio, was not hurt.
State Road 29 was closed for about nine hours Monday morning.
