‘Jurassic World’ star visits patients at children’s hospital

BATON ROUGE, La. (WISH) – When Chris Pratt isn’t on the big screen saving a theme park full of people from escaped dinosaurs, he’s taking time out of his busy schedule to bring smiles to the faces of sick children.

Over the weekend, Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, a pediatric facility in Louisiana, shared some pictures from the actor’s visit on their Facebook page. 

The hospital said Pratt took time out from filming his latest movie to visit with the kids, passing out goodies from “Jurassic World,” the now-record-breaking film he stars in that opened in theaters last weekend.

In the heartwarming photos, Pratt is seen playing games with children, signing movie posters, and delivering gifts to patients in their rooms.

His visit was coordinated by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, an organization that raises funds and awareness for 170 member children’s hospitals across North America.
