Video of NC officer dancing at party goes viral

HICKORY, North Carolina (WISH) – Video of a North Carolina police officer dancing at a community event has gone viral.

It was posted on Facebook last week by Margo Carlton and has been viewed more than 6 million times since. It shows the officer in his police uniform doing a dance called “The Wobble.”

Viewers tell WBTV in North Carolina that the officer in the video is Officer David Lee. The station reports more than 200 community members and volunteers showed up to the community block party.

WBTV says in March, Officer Lee was named the Hickory PD co-worker of the month.
