Major announcement expected from Indiana Black Expo leaders

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Representatives from the Indiana Black Expo will make a major announcement.

IBE leaders are expected to announce increased funding for the Your Life Matters initiative.

The program works hand in hand with President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Initiative.

Both programs are aimed at removing obstacles from youth who are disconnected from the community, particularly  black males between 14 and 24.

IBE president, Tanya Bell, is also to expected to provide highlights about the Summer Celebration.
