Ice cream van driver arrested for DUII
CORNELIUS, Ore, (KOIN) – A 38-year-old man who was driving around the city of Cornelius selling ice cream out of a Plymouth van was arrested for drunk driving.
According to 24-Hour News 8 sister station, KOIN, a witness called the Washington County deputies around 5:35 p.m. Friday to report an ice cream truck that drove into oncoming traffic and hit the right-hand curb twice.
Deputies spotted the 1994 Plymouth Voyager van at N. Barlow and 29th and arrested Noe Andrade Silva.
Silva was arrested and charged with DUII. By Saturday, he paid bail and was released to a responsible party.
