Two pounds of meth found in Putnam County traffic stop

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Two people from Pennsylvania are under arrest after police found two pounds of crystal meth in their car on Sunday.

A state trooper pulled the duo over around 11:30 a.m. Sunday on I-70 in Putnam County.

The trooper asked for K-9 assistance during the traffic stop and discovered two pounds of crystal meth in two different spots within the car.

Police arrested the driver, Szophia L. Cress, and passenger, Haley A. LeBlanc, both from Pennsylvania, on drug charges.

Officers estimate the value of the crystal meth at around $30,000.
