Police: Person shot after north side carjacking
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IMPD detectives are investigating after a person was shot in the leg following a carjacking.
The crime happened just before 7 a.m. Thursday at the Park Central Apartments.
Crime tape surrounded the carport near the intersection of 64th Street and Hoover Road.
Police are looking for the suspect and the victim’s vehicle.
The car is a royal blue Hyundai Elantra with a personalized plate of JALIYAH.
Officers the victim was taken to St. Vincent Hospital.
