Police: Man in ‘Iron Man’ mask robbed store four times in six days
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis man robbed a Dollar General store four times in less than a week while wearing a Halloween mask, according to police.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has arrested 52-year-old Bruce Hill in the case.
IMPD said Hill robbed the Dollar General in the 5000 block of East 16th Street four times between Oct. 8 and Oct. 14.
Witnesses said Hill was wearing a dark jacket and a red “Iron Man”-style mask during each of the robberies.
On Wednesday afternoon, an IMPD sergeant found a person matching the suspect’s description while searching the surrounding neighborhoods.
Police said that a red “Iron Man”-style mask fell out of Hill’s jacket when he was approached for questioning.
Witnesses of the robberies were then brought to the scene. The witnesses then identified Hill as the suspect in the robberies.
