Jewelry stolen from Johnson Co. home

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Johnson County responded Tuesday to a call of an apparent home invasion.

The homeowner returned home to notice broken glass.

According to police, many drawers and cabinets were left open.  However, the only items that appeared to be missing were jewelry.

The robbery occurred in the 2400 block of East 200 South in Johnson County.

Police say only jewelry was taken from the house because it is a hard item to trace back to the person who originally stole the merchandise if it were to change hands.

Police do not have a vehicle or suspect description at this time.

Residents in the area are asked to keep an eye out for any other suspicious activity.
