Cab driver robbed at gunpoint on city’s east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a Yellow Cab driver at gunpoint.

Police say the robbery happened on Oct. 20 around 4:40 a.m. in the 4800 block of East 19th Street.

According to the cab driver, the black male suspect got away with the cab drivers Samsung Note tablet and a small amount of cash.

The suspect was described to be in his 20’s. He was said to be about 5’8 to 5’11, a thin build, had a mustache, chin beard, short hair and tattoos on the back of both hands. He was also wearing a dark gray or black hooded sweatshirt and harmed with a handgun.
