Police: 2 shot on city’s east side during robbery
LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) – Police confirmed that two people were shot on Sunday afternoon on the city’s east side.
Police said that one person was shot in the pelvic region and was transported in critical condition to a lcoal hospital. The second person that was shot had a graze wound. They were treated at the scene and released.
Officials said this happened during a robbery at the Maison Gardens Apartment Complex at 42nd Street and Post Road.
Police do not believe this was random. They are asking anyone with any information to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
