INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Some people may say “too soon” when it comes to Christmas trees, but for local farmers who grow the trees for sale, now is the time that matters.

WISH-TV helicopter pilot Keith McCutchen flew AVI8OR, 24-Hour News 8’s brand new news-gathering drone, over Lost Forty Tree Farm near Greenfield. The trees were ready to go for the holidays.

Christmas tree growers are hoping for strong sales this year. According to the Indiana Christmas Tree Growers Association, Indiana ranks 11th in the nation for live Christmas tree sales.
