National Prematurity Awareness Month
It’s a big cause for tiny babies. We’re wearing purple today to help bring awareness to an important topic on the mind of many parents– Prematurity Awareness Month. The March of Dimes says in Indiana, 1 in 9 babies are born prematurely– and it’s 1 in 10 nationally.
To help shed some light on prematurity, local business and organizations have “turned purple”. Watch as Amber chats with Christen King, a mom who lost twins 10 years ago and now has two healthy 8-year-old twins, along with Kathryn Marous, of the March of Dimes.
