Mooresville teen arrested, accused of planning to blow up school

MOORESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – A Morgan County teenager is facing multiple charges after police say he threatened to blow up Mooresville High School and had the means to do so.

Police were summoned to the high school after 18-year-old Jahnathan Dooley told school personnel he wasn’t happy about being disciplined and planned to blow up the school, according to court documents.

Detectives visited Dooley’s home and he “showed excitement” while revealing his Molotov cocktails and bomb-making materials, according to court documents. He knew the correct ratios for certain bombs, and he also told investigators exactly where he would place them to badly damage the school.

Dooley was charged with two counts of possession of a destructive device and two counts of intimidation.
