Man wanted for August CVS robbery on north side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is hoping the public can help in their investigation into a robbery over the summer.

It happened Aug. 10 at 6:03 a.m. at the CVS located at 7240 East 82nd Street.

Police say a man walked into the store and passed a note to the pharmacist demanding narcotics. He was wearing a striped polo shirt and a dark-colored hat.

According to police, the man said he would hurt people if the pharmacist didn’t hurry up. He gave the pharmacist a plastic bag and followed him behind the counter to the safe. After that, police say the man fled the store.
