Facebook taking on Angie’s List
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Facebook is taking on Angie’s List and there’s more bad news for Apple stockholders.

Facebook is quietly testing a new feature that will direct users to the best-rated and reviewed local service providers in their area. It’s an effort to unseat industry giants like Indianapolis-based Angie’s List and Yelp by leveraging both the strength and broad reach of their respective platforms. It’s similar to both Amazon and Google’s recent moves to connect customers with home and local service providers.
Apple’s near-term future just got a little dimmer. Evidence points to a “subdued iPhone cycle for the next few quarters,” according to Credit Suisse. Some investors fear the runaway growth of the smartphone market is finally showing signs of slowing.
Jane also talked about a arrest in last month’s V-Tech breach, an update to cold beer sales in Indiana and a bias against handsome men in the workplace.
