INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Veterans are a special group of people.  They give of their time, talents and sometimes even their lives for the betterment of their country.

And one of the most cherished segments of military veterans are those who served in WWII.  Dick Wolfsie recently got the opportunity to talk to a local WWII veteran.

He talks with Floyd Schultz.  Schultz recounts some of his most vivid memories of serving and fighting during the second World War.

Schultz talks about the his military training, D-Day and landing on Normandy Beach and some memories he would rather forget.

He also shares some of his pictures and other artifacts from the war.
