Video shows high-speed Johnson County police chase

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Johnson County released video of a high-speed chase last month that ended with a teen dying.

The police pursuit happened Dec. 18 when police say an officer tried stopping a driver coming out of a business parking lot on State Road 135. Police chased the driver for about 10 minutes, and at some points speeds reached 110 mph.

The 19-year-old lost control, crashing into a utility pole. The teen was declared dead at the scene.

Police searched the car, finding a large amount of illegal drugs packaged for sale.
