Survey: Most Americans today are broke
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A recent survey says most Americans are only one paycheck away from the street.
According to Bankrate.com, about 63 percent of Americans have not saved for unexpected expenses such as an emergency room visit or car repair.
The study surveyed 1,000 adults through the website.
The survey also found Americans are willing to cut back some expenses when money is tight, which includes restaurants, their cable bill, Starbucks, and their cellphone bill.
