ISP drug team: 234 criminal charges, 81 arrests in 2015

PENDLETON, Ind. (WISH)– The Pendleton District Meth Suppression Squad is responsible for a total of 162 criminal charges in 2015.

The squad is made up of four troopers that are certified through the Drug Enforcement  Administration’s Clandestine Lab School. They work to clean up and dispose of meth labs in the Pendleton district. They are also responsible for assisting other agencies to bring in 81 defendants, according to police.

The squad works very closely with other agencies in the Pendleton district. They assisted the Division of Child Services to remove 26 children from homes involved with creating meth.
