IMPD releases photos of armed robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for help identifying a man wanted for a robbery last Friday.

It happened at Cashland, located at 7123 North Michigan Road, around 3:50 p.m.

According to IMPD, the man robbed the business while armed with a black semi automatic handgun.

He’s described as a black male, in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, 150 pounds to 160 pounds, thin build, light complexion, light brown or hazel eyes, wearing glasses, a red, white, and blue New York Yankee’s knit cap, grey hoodie over a grey sweatshirt, one glove on his left hand, dark pants, and tan Timberland boots.

Police say he took off with cash and ran southbound on foot.
