FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Police have asked for the public’s help in finding a man they want to question after a woman was found critically injured inside a home on Fort Wayne’s near-north side Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the home located in the 800 block of Huffman Street just after 5:15 a.m. While en route, a 911 call was received from someone indicating there was an unconscious person inside.

After arriving on the scene, officers and paramedics found the woman and took her to a hospital where she was listed in critical condition.

Based on information they got after talking to potential witnesses, police named a person of interest. They are looking for Brent Stephen Browning, 29, who may be driving a 2006 red or maroon colored Lincoln Zephyr with Indiana license plate UIM 627. The car may be missing either a front or rear bumper.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police. Browning is black, but no other description has been provided by police.
