IMPD looking for suspect following east side chase

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers are looking for a suspect on the city’s east side.

According to IMPD dispatchers, the suspect lead officers on a chase on the east side before the suspect hit a house and took off on foot.

IMPD said the chase started as a domestic situation near 16th Street and Emerson Avenue. They say the suspect ran off the road near Kitley Avenue and Julian Avenue. The suspect hit a house and a car. The damage was not significant.

IMPD said they were still looking for the suspect. Officers said they had a few K-9 officers in the area looking for the suspect A description of the suspect was not immediately known.

No one was injured in the chase.
