Indiana officers stop and play ball with kids

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A Fort Wayne woman took pictures this weekend of two police officers playing basketball with some kids.

Ashley Kay says the Fort Wayne officers, Officer Keirsh Cochran and Officer Matthew West, pulled up to Fairfield Elementary School and started playing with the children.

The kids were enjoying the unusually warm January weather. Kay said she stopped and watched for a few minutes and all the children seemed to be enjoying their time with the officers and laughing.

The pictures show about eight kids playing around.
