Police stop speeding truck, locate drugs inside
MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana State Police arrested a man on Saturday night after a traffic stop led police to meth inside his truck.
Police say around 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, a truck was traveling on Interstate 69 near the 224 mile marker going 83 mph in a 65 zone. The officer pulled over 37-year-old Stephen Fuller of Leoma Tennessee.
During the traffic stop the officer became suspicious and called for backup. A second trooper arrived with his K-9 partner. While the K-9 was walking the truck he alerted his handler to possible drugs inside the truck.
Inside the truck police found less than a gram of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Fuller was transported to the Madison County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
