Indy group delivering more than 60K water bottles to Flint, Mich.
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis group working to donate bottles of water for Flint, Mich., got some welcome news Tuesday.
The Indy Flintstones started two weeks ago with a lofty goal of providing 60,000 bottles of water to donate.
After a pick up Thursday, they hope to reach 100,000 bottles before the semis head to Flint in the morning.
Organizers said they knew reaching the goal would be difficult.
The group started as two families in Indy who are from Flint.
They set out to help their hometown and ended up collecting water to help thousands of people.
