BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) – Jerald Honeycutt has taken a plea deal agreement for one count of rape in the case where he was charged with raping a 73-year-old woman.
Jerald Honeycutt, 34, of Bloomington, was charged with rape, burglary, intimidation, confinement and strangulation.
Bloomington police linked Honeycutt through the use of DNA analysis.
The other charges in the case were dismissed and he was sentenced to spend 40 years in prison with 10 years suspended.
