Pedestrian struck, killed in Kokomo
KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Kokomo are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Wednesday.
Police say the accident happened around 9 p.m. near the area of Home Avenue, just north of Lincoln Road. When they arrived they found a 55-year-old male from Michigan was dead in the road way.
According to the preliminary investigation, the man was hit by a 2005 White Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling northbound on Home Avenue. The jeep was driven by a 50-year-old Kokomo woman.
Police say the man was walking north in the roadway where he was hit.
