One transported to hospital after crash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person was taken to the hospital following an early morning one-vehicle crash.

The incident happened near North Meridian Street and West 86th Street around 3:30 Sunday morning.

According to police, one man lost control of his vehicle as he attempted to turn onto 86th Street headed east.

Police go on to say that the vehicle then proceeded to hit a curb and the flipped into a nearby ditch.

The individual was not said to be in critical or serious condition, but did sustain cuts and bruises as result of the crash.  He was transported to the hospital.

It is unclear if alcohol play a factor int he crash.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
