Vernon Davis surprises young cancer patient with Super Bowl 50 tickets
PALO ALTO,Ca. (KRON) – A Broncos superfan who is being treated for cancer at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford got a surprise of a lifetime over the weekend.
18-year-old Alex Walter’s dream was to meet a member of the Denver Broncos team, but he got more than he wished for on Saturday.
Walter was not only surprised by tight-end Vernon Davis on Tuesday, but Davis also returned days later to give Walter a pair of tickets to Super Bowl 50.
The tickets were a gift from Davis and Levi’s Stadium.
Walter, from Montana, has never been to a Broncos game. He says he his excitement is “over the moon!”
