3 arrested after kidnapping and hostage situation
FRANKFORT, Ind. (WISH) – Three suspects were arrested following a kidnapping and hostage situation.
On Thursday around 8:30 p.m. Frankfort police responded to a situation where money was being requested in exchange for the release of an adult male.
According to the release, the Clinton County Special Weapons and Tactics Team went to the 500 block of East Washington Street. They made contact with the suspects and arranged a peaceful release of the victim.
The suspects then surrendered.
22-year-old Miguel Alanis, 21-year-old Alfredo Alanis and 21-year-old Ricardo Alanis were all arrested.
They are preliminary charged with criminal confinement and intimidation. Alfredo and Miguel are preliminary charged with battery as well.
The suspects are currently being held in the Clinton County Jail, awaiting formal charges.
