Police in Westfield searching for fraud suspect

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Westfield need help finding a woman wanted for fraud.

According to police, several Kroger Supermarkets received counterfeit checks in exchange for gift cards. They say this happened during September.

Westfield police say the female suspect signed the check with the name “Tanisha Franklin” and used a fake North Carolina driver’s license.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-8477 or 800-222-8477. Information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of $1,000.
