New video boards give fans life like view of track

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – The massive video boards at IMS were updated in 2015 and are located throughout the infield and in front of the grandstands.

IMS President Doug Boles said the boards were a needed upgrade to provide fans with the experience and view they need to enjoy the races at the track.

Each LED board is high-definition. There are ten total throughout the infield and grandstands. According to IMS leaders, 98 percent of ticket holders will have a clear view of at least one of the boards, making fans feel closer to the race than ever before.

The displays around the track range from 3.5 times bigger to more than four times bigger than the previous boards.
