Two arrested after pipe bomb detonated near Clinton Central HS

FRANKFORT, Ind. (WISH) — Two teens have been arrested after a pipe was detonated near a high school on March 1.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said Nathan Robertson and Reece Mennen, both 19-years-old and both from Frankfort, were arrested in connection to the case.

Investigators found the bomb was detonated on the north side of the football field, away from the school’s main buildings.

An investigation led them to Robertson and Mennen, who were found to have purchased bomb-making materials two days prior. Bomb-making materials were found following search warrants.

Both face multiple felony counts and are being held in the Clinton County Jail.
