GOGO Squeez recalls applesauce pouches

(WCMH)- The company says food residue was found in two product pumps at one of the factories where the applesauce is manufactured.

According to Materne, the company that produces GOGO SqueeZ, said the contamination was found during an inspection by the Michigan State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and affects pouches with best before dates between 12/4/15 and 3/4/17.

The company did say no illnesses have been connected to the issue however, and there is no evidence any outside food residue made it into the pouches.
