Plaque commemorates voice of Indy 500
SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – The voice of the Indianapolis 500 now has a plaque to commemorate his work.
Tom Carnegie’s voice was heard from the speakers of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 61 of the 94 Indianapolis 500 races.
A plaque sits outside of victory circle that commemorates his career.
