Showers and storms for Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Wet weather continues as we close out the weekend.

A fast-moving upper-level disturbance will continue to squeeze out steady showers across much of central Indiana Sunday morning. As a warm front moves through Sunday afternoon, expect showers to become more scattered and isolated from south to north for the second half of the day. A few isolated thunderstorms can’t be ruled out.

Additional rainfall of 0.25″ to 0.50″ will be possible for most of central Indiana, with some isolated higher amounts possible for areas that see thunderstorms.

Highs will top out in the mid 60s for most of the area, with the exception to the north, where cooler air will hang around ahead of the front.

An active pattern will continue heading into the new work week, with rain and storm chances through Tuesday night.
