Police investigate shooting on city’s west side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police were responding to the scene of a person shot on the city’s west side.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials, one person was shot around 10 a.m. The shooting happened in the 600 block of North Exeter Avenue.

The victim was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. The person is in critical condition according to police.

Police were still looking for a suspect, but could release a description as of Monday afternoon.
