Winner of Brackets for Good announced

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – With thousands of busted brackets in its trail,a new champion of men’s and women’s college basketball will soon be crowned as March Madness comes to an end.

However, while your bracket was likely busted within the first couple of rounds, there was one competition happening in March were everyone really did win.

Brackets for Good was a competition that began in late February and recently wrapped.

It was between local non-profits, who competed against one another to see who could raise the most money.

The competition brought in a whopping 400,000 for local non-profits.

Matt Duncan and Maggie Mestrich stopped by Daybreak and talked about the competition and even announced the winner.
